Choosing the Right Event

Just imagine you’re connecting on a personal level to the person your business is meant to serve…..surrounded by a community that empowers you. 

It isn’t far-fetched. It’s called promoting your brand at your both….properly… at the perfect event. 

Regardless of your business growth stage. Regardless if your goal is to: 

  • Grow your current customer base

  • Develop deep partnerships

  • Recruit talent for the company

…Creating a physical presence, in front of your IDEAL avatar, can have a massive impact on your business. 


The question is, how do you know it’s the right event?.......How do you know if the event is going to be a success?...... Is it going to be worth my time? Will the ROI be there?

First let’s get clear on our objective and what I need to know before I know if the event is right for me.


How do I know an event is right for me? I ask these questions:

  1. What is my goal at this event?

  2. Who is my customer or avatar I’m wanting to connect with?

  3. What are the events locally, regionally, and nationally that fit this criteria? (Search on google…. Ask in peer groups…. Ask customers what events they love to attend….)

  4. Who do I need to connect with and what do I need to do, to figure out if the event is right for me?

    1. How many attendees are expected? 

    2. What is the cost?

    3. How many impressions, connections, or coin would I need to make in order for it to be worth my time? (And yes, it could be a combo of all three).

  5.  How can my company add value to this event…..that will bring a community, and provide the biggest impact for me?

If you can get clear on this, your chances of success just greatly increased…….

and……
