The Power of Human Connection

Just so we are on the same page. When I say EVENT……

Think of it as you (your company)

Setting up some kind of booth

For a specific reason

At a gathering,

That involves your perfect avatar (customer, prospect, new hire).

Also, you’ll notice I am speaking to fellow small business owners, however, it is 100% relatable to those of you out there running the Marketing, HR, Events, PR, and Sales for these small businesses and want to really maximize ROI and use events as a way to build brand loyalty and awareness. Not to mention drive revenue.

I personally believe that regardless of your industry, or your reason behind setting up a physical booth at an event, the ideas and concepts we will cover can be used to improve what you’re currently doing.

Events are an incredible way to get in front of the person your brand is trying to serve. It gives you the opportunity to attract new customers and partners by teaming up with your community.

Attract your ideal customer to your booth through your community

Why Events vs. Digital Media?

The Human to Human connection is priceless. You get a chance to do something fun and centered around the community. Your brand becomes real. Furthermore, you get to share with your Perfect Customer and potential customers-

  • Your story and the brand's story.

  • You get to hear their input and get feedback about your brand and product/ service (as long as you have a firm understanding of your mission, vision, product, and values, feedback can be great).

  • And learn deeper about them and their needs and desires.

  • You get to give them a gift (everyone loves gifts) or a physical product with your branding that fits into their lifestyle…..how…..because you’ve built that connection with them.

Events give you that opportunity to get their contact info and make a promise to them that makes an impact…… and then you get to follow through and build brand loyalty.

With every person you do this with….

  • You create a bond.

  • They tell your story to their friends

  • You grow your community

  • You start a movement

And because of that….

  • Sales go up

  • Acquisition costs go down

  • Social reach and impressions grow organically

  • Price stops being the factor of why they are buying from you because now they have loyalty to you.

  • You’ve shown them that your brand is actually human.

These are just a few reasons why events can be so powerful. Tomorrow I am going to share with you How to Choose the Right Event

I’ve put together the checklist and the 14 days of training to help you build a movement around your brand……

By getting in front of them at events.
